Biofilm and biofouling is common in these applications, restricting\u00a0 flow and also acting as a thermal insulator.<\/p>\n<p>To address this challenging issue, we recommended the facility engage in the \u2018Get Clean, Keep Clean\u2019 approach\u2014our 360\u00b0 approach to water treatment\u2014targeting the removal of biofilm and restoration of system design efficiency.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n                                <\/div>\n                    <div class=\"image-container lg:basis-3\/6 relative flex flex-col mt-[24px] lg:mt-0\">\n                <div class=\"skewed-image-container min-h-[388px] bg-no-repeat bg-cover bg-center skewedImageLarge-flipped shadow-[0_10px_10px_0_rgba(109,106,112,0.15)]\" style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.ncheurope.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/dairy.jpg);\"><\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"title-text-block secondaryChemAqua paddingTopXSmall paddingBottomXSmall\">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n                <p><strong>Corrective Actions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"40\" data-end=\"91\">Our solution was implemented in two concise phases:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"93\" data-end=\"502\"><strong data-start=\"93\" data-end=\"107\">Get Clean:<\/strong><br data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"110\" \/>Our Water Treatment Specialist deployed Chem-Aqua\u2019s patented bioeXile-L\u2014a powerful biofilm penetrant\u2014alongside an effective biocide. The system was circulated for 24 hours through pipework, cooling jackets, and heat exchangers before a thorough flush. Microbiological sampling showed a significant increase in <em data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"433\">Pseudomonas<\/em> bacteria, confirming successful mobilisation and removal of biofilm.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"763\"><strong data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"519\">Keep Clean:<\/strong><br data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"522\" \/>Following the deep clean, we dosed the system with tailored corrosion and scale inhibitors and biocides, coupled with regular monitoring.
