A range Cryo treated end mills, specifically designed to remove the ragged, work hardened surface of a sunken broken stud/bolt.

 

  • Cryo Ex-Tract End Mills have been uniquely designed to overcome the problem of a sunken sheared off screw, stud or bolt with an irregular, work hardened surface.
  • Manufactured from Cryo Phase™ treated tungsten carbide. Allows it to machine metals of Hardness Rockwell 50 and above – can machine all bolts up to and including 12.9.
  • Specifically designed for standard bolt diameters to enable machining of sunken sheared bolts.
  • Unique Geometry, specially designed teeth are located on the tip only, preventing damage to the internal female thread.
  • To remove screws, studs and bolts from M6 - M16.

  • These taps have spiral flutes which minimise the danger of breaking the tap or damaging the thread.
